The Blue I Carry
A small series built around a turquoise ground. I didn't set out to make paintings about where I come from. But working with that same turquoise again and again, I recognised something familiar in it, a colour that connects back to my Turkish roots.

A Field of Their Own
The newest body of work, and still in progress. Different flowers, forms and gestures share one field, none of them growing in quite the same way. It's where I keep coming back to vulnerability and self-trust, and to tenderness that isn't the opposite of strength.
